Poder Músico Mental Button Up
The Poder Músico Mental Button Up is a piece inspired by the album Comfort y Música Para Volar by Soda Stereo, and is part of the Vinilos collection. Soda Stereo has been one of my main influences ever since my dad had an iPod and introduced me to the band, so I thought it was only fair to have a piece made in their honor.
The main visual reference is En la Ciudad de la Furia’s music video, which shows different angles of Buenos Aires in purple tones. I have never been to Argentina, but I used some film pictures I took in Tel Aviv to recreate the feel of the original video.
The letters on the back make reference to the song Sonoman, which talks about a comic superhero who has mental musical powers, or poderes músico mentales.

This product is made of polyester and is printed with sublimation. It is only sold in one size, which is considered an XXL. I think it feels great as an oversized shirt.
